During the journey to power station we came across this bridge with a great view on sarcophagus. In the day of explosion there had been crowds of anxious people. Probably they had seen the glow above the power station, probably now they are all dead.

Here comes the last gate. In this place counters show the highest radiation.

We were only few minutes in here. Than we were invited to the particularly protected building, where we could watch the area behind huge thick glass. We were looking in turns on sarcophagus and counter.

Here and there you can use this special balance. You need to stand on it, put your hands in proper place, and than there appears red, green or yellow signalling device of radiation.

View from the roof of the highest building is great. There used to be about 40 thousands people living in Prypeć, but since the day of evacuation nobody lives there. However, since 1986 lots of people have been working there. There is a rule that any person employed in closed zone works only every second day in a month.

A great numer of completely empty, silent, neglected buildings make a huge impression. Each building has its own history. Each flat remembers a drama of some family. In few hours the whole world fell to ruin; few moments to pack and adieu my city...
